Job Title PHP Developer
Department Development
Direct Supervisor Head of Development
Job Objective Participating in a team-oriented environment to develop web-based applications, Maintaining existing codebase, databases, to include troubleshooting bugs and adding new features.
Principal Accountabilities • Prepares control web portals & web-based applications;
• Communications & Interfaces with other portals & web-based applications;
• Participates in planning, evaluating and scheduling of new and revised programs, procedures and equipment.
Work (85%)
• Development & maintenance of ADME’s web-based applications
• Custom application, or new module, specifications.
• Ensuring quality of work through development and implementation of QA procedures, standards and Documentations.
Administrative (10%)
• Accurately outlining work task breakdowns for programming side of new projects
• Accurately estimating time frames for work completion and hitting them
• Accurately and regularly completing time-sheets
• Working with team to educate project managers about programming solutions
Management (5%)
• Educating and at times, coordinating, contract developers.

Knowledge Skills & Experience • PHP - 5+ years of experience.
• MySQL 3+ years of experience.
• MVC Frameworks (Codeigniter, CakePHP .. etc.)
• XHTML,CSS & Javascript (jQuery & AJAX).
• Web Services development - SOAP & REST.
• Mobile Web based applications.
• Solid Experience with building highly interactive, highly trafficked, database driven web applications.
• Willingness to lead projects in a structured team environment - we encourage the individual and reward the success of the team.
Competencies You will be expected to plan, research, develop logic, code, test and deploy several Web projects with minimal assistance. You should know how to build a PHP web application from the ground up, as well as modify and build on existing code.
