Autodata uses a proven approach to predict future residual values (FRV) that will improve the profitability of a fleet of vehicles. This will enable the prospect to forecast the FRV for new and used vehicles up to a total lifespan of 60 months/200k km.
The residual value represents the anticipated future disposal price. This is the paid for a car by a trade buyer who is intending to offer the car for sale.
Not all vehicles will have a future residual value. For example, cars outside the age and mileage ranges, some specialist vehicles or rare limited production vehicles will not have a forecast value. Values are also excluded for cars over 60 months old.
Autodata has created a Backbone which generates the data feed needed to provide a vehicle forecast. The Autodata Backbone is a comprehensive listing of every make, model and type for every vehicle sold in the U.A.E. It also contains all the historical depreciation data for these vehicles. Each vehicle forecast is based on thorough analysis.
FRV will also calculate the current value for each vehicle/fleet.
